Hi! We're going to try this recipe for tomorrow night's dinner. We have a prime rib roast so I hope it works! It looks pretty easy to follow so I will definitely let you know how it turns out! Now I just hope my husband can find the Tony's seasoning at Walmart! Thank you for all the great videos!

I'm learning to cook, so have pity please: I do not have a slow cooker - but I have a crock pot. Are they the same? If so, if I'm going to cook for 8 hours - do I put the crock pot on low? It only has two settings - high and low. I was told not to pre-heat a crock pot. Should I just go buy a slow cooker? I ask becauase I want to really learn how to cook Cajun food and if you need a slow cooker a lot I'll go buy one. And if I do, what is the best size (for two adults). THANKS!!!!

In reply to <a href="https://www.cajuncookingtv.com/crock-pot-roast#comment-327">Kathy</a>.

The song that is our theme song and featured all through this video is called "I Can't Believe You're in Love with Me" by Hot Jazz Caravan. This group is a jazz ensemble that I found searching for usable music. Go to archive.org and search the groups name. You can download one song or all. There are over 20 great songs. Enjoy!
