Hi Ricky,

Yes, if the lobster is already cooked, just follow this recipe.

If the lobster is not cooked, just boil it for whatever time is recommended for the lobster.

The ingredients in the boil would be the same.

thank you Beryl! I wanted to make this recipe again this sunday for a family dinner. But do you have a recipe for Cajun Lobster? Could I simply replace the cajun snow crab in this recipe with a lobster..?

I love this video so much. I chanced upon it on YouTube last year and bookmarked it. I had been going through a very difficult time in my life and felt very alone. This video’s sense of warmth and home really helped me lift out of some deep sadness when I needed it most. I can’t watch this without feeling better after. Definitely not just in Louisiana the crab boil is used..I know right here in Florida we use it as much as we can, anytime we can. 😉 thanks for the recipe..I love love love snowcrab legs but have never cooked them myself..but I was told to do it almost exactly like you’ve listed but I was told to throw a lil’ Old Bay seasoning in at the end. Have you ever tried it this way?? I’m cooking tomorrow nite & unless otherwise instructed-im gonna do some both ways. Can’t wait! Thanks so much for the recipe!

We tried this same recipe with King Crab legs and it turned out PERFECTLY!! They were too “pokey” for me, so we’re trying it again with the snow crab tonight with my in-laws. This time we will try the potatoes with it. Can’t wait!
